POSITION DESCRIPTION
Early Childhood Program Associate, San Francisco Bay Area Job#5587 (P/T) + Benefits.
Support implementation of Parent Involvement Project (PIP). Expertise + experience in early childhood education, family engagement, child development, and support of culturally and linguistically diverse children and families. Provide technical assistance and coaching to school district staff to ensure consistent, high-quality provision of PIP services to preschool children. Facilitate professional learning community meetings for facilitators and home visitors to enhance quality of PIP implementation. Travel to districts in San Francisco Bay Area + WestEd offices. Spanish fluency. Master’s degree in child development, education, or related field and 2-5 years’ experience in early childhood education, preschools. Experience providing technical assistance to early childhood educators through professional learning communities. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
